52 weeks of Happy (4/52)

• Being lucky enough to work from home (hence the paint alongside pans from tea)
• Cake flags made for a fan of Adventure Time (an odd but cool cartoon)
• Lovely Morten who features again this week, despite digging up my newly planted bulbs!
•Moomin postcards I bought in Finland. Maisy and Soren are going away with their Dad for a few days and I always send them off with a note tucked in their bags.

Hope mid week finds you happy or able to find a bit of happy within our hectic days! xx

  1. Naughty Morten. We have double the trouble here - George digs out the plants and Charlie sits on them. The OH had planted some new turf under our kitchen window as George had very kindly dug it up. I heard the OH scream from the garden "The bloody dogs are now pee'ing on the new turf." Pets don't you just love them!!! Grrrrr ...

  3. Mr Morten is looking very cute there, bless his naughty paws! We have a couple of dachshunds as you know and before it was paved their sole mission in life was to create a replica of the Somme trenches in our garden!

  5. Oh dear - naughty Moten! Still lovely though.

Enjoy your time by yourself - just the lack of noise and squabbling would be most welcome for me.

  6. My girls like little notes from me too, although I have stopped the surprise ones in eldest Beas lunch box, now she's in secondary school! Naughty Morten! He looks very happy though, hidden treasure, and all that! Ada :)

  7. Ah, the joys of pets in the garden! We are lucky to have a little yard directly outside the back door, and then steps up to the lawn - we have put a little gate at the bottom of the steps so that Floyd can pop out of the cat flap to go to the loo but can't get up to the rest of the garden - we let him up there to play with us, but he heads straight for my lavender and tries to demolish it! Love those Adventure Time flags, my boys love it and I have a bit of a soft spot for it too, love a bit of surreality in my day! xx

  8. Not sure the pooches ever give this up ... we have a Border Collie called Pepper and she is ten now and still loves to dig up the roots of our silver birches ... hubby is not impressed :) ... they must have a Peter Pan mindset and stay puppy-like forever ... have a lovely weekend ... Bee xx

  11. We just finished a lot of pre winter yard work, and here's hoping our dog has more self control than little Morten. (I'm not holding my breath)
