Hello! This is a tin of treacle, it's dark and sticky and sweet, a bit like syrup but much darker. It's actually black in colour. You use it in things like ginger cake if that helps! Parkin is the traditional cake we have at this time of year, especially Bonfire night (5th November) Xx
I have that exact same tin in my cupboard and have been loving it! We're planning parkin baking here too - it's Yorkshire tradition to eat it on bonfire night, apparently! x
I think I need a tin of treacle and to make ginger biscuits and cake next week. Half term baking is going to happen in my house! Love the colours of the tin and pumpkin together. X
