52 Weeks of Happy(13/52)

It feels properly light today for the first time in so long. It is good to feel awake!
Feeling a bit lighter and brighter mood wise so here are my happies this week from the brilliant project by Jen at Little Birdie

* Our delicious New Year's Eve meal....smoked haddock with cream
* Morten likes to get under any cover/cushion he can find.
* Passion fruit juice in Jamie's new Moomin cup.
* Using that juice to make these Passionfruit Creams (good old Nigel Slater)

I also have another HUGE happy that just happened this morning. Mr. Postman delivered a wonderful parcel from Helsinki!

How fantastic are these Moomin goodies? I am a lucky lady :)
A huge thank you to Ullamaj at Perhonenlensi

I also would like to say thank you to Jen for the award. It made me really happy! Its a great way to be introduced to some blogs you haven't seen. Going to think up some questions and join in.

Happy weekend all......I'm off to see the Lion King tonight! Yippee! Xx

  1. I can see you started a while ago but everyone seems to have woken up to the new year with some strange urge to be copy cats and bore the pants off us all by doing 52 weeks of happy too. Can't they think of anything for themselves? It isn't at all interesting to see the same thing on blog after blog. Their resolutions ought to have been to be more original.

    1. Hi Anonymous (if that is your real name)
If you find 52 Weeks of Happy boring I believe there is a '52 Weeks of Snide' thread you could follow.
All the best for the New Year
      Nick and Morten

  2. Cushions and covers - it must be a dachshund thing - Charlie is exactly the same! He jumps on the sofa rifles through the cushions till he finds one that is deemed worthy before flopping on it and falling asleep! It's a hard life.
Happy New Year to you and Morten!

  9. I LOVE your happies, and all happies - it's good to celebrate the small, simple things that bring us pleasure in life, and, inevitably, those things will overlap between blogs as we have similar interests and take pleasure in food, drink, good design, our homes, our families and pets, books, music etc.

Those passionfruit creams look so good. I like your orla plant pot in the background too, very nice. :-)

  16. Such cute Moomin goodies! Did you see the BBC documentary on Tove Janson? Thanks so much for the comment on my being vegan post. I went vegetarian for the first time when I was 12 too, so I feel so honoured that you would pass something I wrote on to your daughter - I hope she finds it useful!
