Food, Football and a Limping Dog

So with my last post, Morten was sleeping off his vet trauma. When he awoke he was limping and has been in a bad way all weekend. The vet seems to think he might have hurt himself while struggling to escape. He has to have complete rest so we have been carrying him around. Now my lower back is hurting. A lot!

We had cakes to celebrate making it through the first week of school and today maisy made this delicious apple crumble/scone thingy. Perfect comfort food!

Soren had his first match of the football season and was given his proper goal keepers shirt. They won both matches! Phew! (I get a bit stressed while watching).

I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a full week back at school....... Eeeek!

  1. Whatever that apple thing is it looks delicious! I hope Morten gets well soon - if only to save you having a bad back!

I love the splashes of colour and pattern in your home. Your green walls are gorgeous, and I love the retro patterns in your tea towels, tablecloth and mugs.

  3. I hope that Morten is on the mend soon and that your back improves too! Charlie is so heavy I'd need a crane to lift him! KP is off to school tomorrow and I have just finished the name tags - I had forgotten to do her school skirts and blazer! Luckily her feet don't seem to have grown so I haven't had to purchase new shoes but did polish them navy and have been told "but they're black!" Have a great week.
